I want to tell you that there are many things that us as parents dont want to see our children go thru. I know from experiance that the pain of having to put a child on meds is from fear that we may be to blame for the childs problems, when infact it can be hereitary in nature. Your child will not suceed in life if he or she cant think or learn. medication like Adderall is one med you should try. Your child deserves to be able to funtion in her or his life. The child is suffering in a way you may not be able to understand. Your child is acting out in school and not at home because the enviorment is different and children with ADHD do that. They act inappropreatly in one place and not another because of the stress level of each place. They become confussed. Please talk to your doctor or a good counselor and you will probubly be told that your child will be tried on a very low dose of Adderall to start off with. They will gradually increase the meds doseage. Just watch for increase activity or other side affects like sleeplessness. If you would like to talk to me I would be glad to talk to you further. Good luck
