: Does anyone know of Social Security or any other money that is available to kids with ADD. I was told by a friend that he recieved $400 a month each for his boys that were ADD/ADHD.

Yes you can get SSI for this disorder. What ever you do though dont ask SSI whether or not your child is disabled just ask for the paper work to fill out and get started. You need to submit alot of info. So get busy. Your child deserves the help. I am using the money to help my grandson get a college education. and you also have to be clever in how you use the money. Dont be to deceptive. Do your home work. You can also get a lawyer for free who is a privete SSI lawyer. You have to be denied first and then do a redetermination filing. Dont let them blow you off. My grandson got it 3 months after I sent in the first packet of info. He didnt have any problems getting SSI. But I know of some that have. email me if you like and if I can help further I will.
