: My daughter was on ritalin, then got switched to adderall, that wasnt working to so i tried to get her back on ritalin. Her doctor said they were moving all ritalin patients to Concerta. Can anyone give me any info on this. I know it is very new.

: thank you

My son has been on Concerta for just over two months now. He was started at the 18mg dosage. After two weeks, he said that he could tell there was improvement, but it wasn't enough to satisfy him.

After speaking with the pediatrician, we began giving him 2 18mg caplets each morning. He liked the effects much better. After two weeks, the doctor switched him from the 18mg prescription to the 36mg prescription.

That was about 6 weeks ago. Kidlet is still very happy with it.
