: First off, I want to thank those who responded to my post about ADD affecting my job in law enforcement.
: Secondly, I have heard that adult Attention Defficit is treated differently than in ADD in children. With different drugs, perhaps. I have heard about Concerta. Anyone have any experiece with this drug?
: I took Dexedrine for awhile in jr. high. I'm not sure why I switched back...It was awhile ago, and I can't remember.
: This is just so hard. Sometimes I feel like I will never live up to what I want to be, like something is always holding me back.
: I'm reading a good book right now, though. Driven to Distraction. I can't remember the author, though. Sorry!
: Take care,
: Jackie
Hi Jackie.
Please look into neurofeedback for yourself. It is a drug free permanent treatment. For more info look at eegspectrum.com We are doing this treatment for our son and are already seeing positive changes - without drugs. Good luck.
