: Just wondering why everyone does medication for ADD? Is this the only the to do? I am seeing an
: environmental doctor and he said drugs is the last resort. So we are doing test (blood, urine, hair etc.)
: We found out my child had many food allergies and when I started eliminating them she is no longer
: hyper at all. Now we still have the problem with concentration but next he is going to have us try
: some supplements (that are healthy and no side effects). Just wondering why no one else does this?

Your daughter is really blessed that it was only allergies. My son is taken allergy shots and is not allergic to any foods.
And yes he has severe ADHD. Has been hospitalized several times and has had many tests ran. And until you have lived
with a child that really does have this disorder you do not have a clue. This is a very physical and mental stressfull
disorder. Maybe allergies were the answer to your problems but does that give you the right to judge everyone else.
If you have done any research, most of the time ADHD runs in the male side of the family, not the female????
