I'm 35, and have just been dignosed with ADD. My doc has prescribed Adderal 10 mg twice a day. I haven't noticed anything for about 3 days now. I called him and told him this dosage wasn't enough, he said to increase to 15mg twice/day. He also said that having to increase it could mean that it won't work properly. My question is: will he take me off of it and try something else, or would he increase it to say 20 or 30 mg twice/day? The reason I ask is because I am a big guy(350 lbs.), and I found out that Adderal comes in 5,10, 20,& 30 mg strengths. Another question I have is: how long does it take before you know you have the right dosage??? Thanks
