I have a 5 year old son who has behavior problems for 2 years now. He has been in 3 daycares
and is now in kindergarden. He does things like punch, knock things down etc. His daycare
provider and his now teacher feel it is not to be mean, more that he doesn't control himself. He
also doesn't seem to pay attention, won't always listen, and doesn't finish activities.
I am at a loss. His pediatrician recently asked my feelings about meds, and I feel at this point, I
should be open to the idea, as everyone who has evaluated him, OT, speech therapist, hearing,
development, have no significant findings.
I'm desperate. I am literally feeling sick at this point. I have to be somewhat responsible for
some of these problems he is having. I really need some support. Dana Coffee
