Sorry it took me so long to respond. But if your
doctor is not prescribing meds, the school cannot
say what your son needs. I can't believe them!
If they make an educaion plan they have to follow
it. Get your doctor in on this. Find a support
group that might know of a good avocate in your
area. Do these things that don't cost money.
Also if there is a ADD clinic in your area.
Use this resource. I am lucky because I live
in Massachusetts and there is an over abundance
of medical expertise and clinics in my area.
And if comes to a lawyer. Some of them will give
you a free hour of advice.
Don't give up. The school system cannot dictate
medication for your child! Be strong.
