: I have heard that stimulants work the opposite on children and was wondering if anyone has ever experimented with coffee on their children

I don't have any children, but I recall a particular third grade classmate of mine who was very hyperactive-- bounced off the walls. Our teacher thought that giving him coffee might help him calm down and concentrate. She tried it, and it made a very noticeable difference.
