There is no indication that Ritalin has any short term or long term benefits for the symptoms of ADD/ADHD. If you research, you will find that even the manufacturer of Ritalin points to "increased compliance, ability to focus attention longer" It doesn't improve academic grades or learning abilities. Cylert, Adderall, and most of the other drugs being used to are all very similar in composition to each other and to cocaine.
My research indicates that the best results come from behavior modification therapy and counseling.
Your school system has a responsibility to provide an IEP (Individual Education Plan) for all students with learning disabilities.
