: I appreciate your research and information. I am struggling with my son who is 6 and not conforming to the classroom rules as he should. He is incredibly bright and when he decides to do his work he is wonderful. After reading this I think that the problems is us, his parents, not him. Thanks Again

Don't take it all on your shoulders! The problem also lies in our school systems, pharmaceutical companys, psychologists and doctors that are, at best, ignorantly pressing forward with increasing numbers of drugged school children. Behavior modification therapy and counseling should be our first line treatments.

I have a six-year old boy, and you described him perfectly, too. If you would like, e-mail me at Wyldcolts@aol.com and we can compare notes. I am continuing my research and I would like to hear your ADD/ADHD story. When how and by whom (teacher, doctor, etc) was your son first diagnosed? What treatments were suggested?

Good luck and best wishes, Wanda
