: Hi everyone,
: Glad I found this web site. I just found out yesterday that my older sister is addicted to Percocet. She informed my parents that she was taking 40 pills a day. Is this possible to do and still stay ALIVE? I don't know much about the drug and don't know where else to go to ask. Please reply back with ANY information... Thank you.
It's not only possible, it's done every day. I used to take 50 a day if I could get my hands on them. She has built up a tremendous tolerance, as I had. If I stay clean 35 years and then go back to using, I will almost immediately pick right up where I left off at 50/day. She needs to go to treatment. Does she have a chronic addiction complaint? I did. Now I take 1 celebrex/day. She's escaping something in her life. You need to intervene in her life. Do what you have to. My family did for me, and I have a GREAT life today. Keep in mind that I didn't want the help at the time. Your sister will soon do something illegal to keep her supply going. Then the legal system will help her. It helped me. She only can go ONE way, and that's down! Good luck. Let me know if I have more info you may want. Been There
