: Well, the good news is is that she went into a treatment center yesterday, so she IS willing to get the help she needs.
: As for the illegal stuff, she's been there/done that. She was getting her pills off the street, and the reason this all
: came out is because she lost her car and her house and was writing bad checks all over the place!! She thought if she sold
: the house before they foreclosed then she could pay everyone back, but of course they foreclosed on her. I did some net
: research on the drug and found out it can cause liver probs?? About a year ago she was in hospital for liver damage and the
: doctor was baffled at the time because she doesn't drink!! If only she had been ready then to admit her problem....I'm just glad she
: did something now, just wish I wasn't 2,000 miles away and could be of more help. I feel so useless. But she's in treatment
: and that's the important thing. Thanks so much for your info!!!

I'm happy for you. I was convicted of 6 felonies while on my "run" and went to jail for 60 days. Actually I was pretty fortunate.
She CAN have a very happy, satisfied life after drugs. I do! Congrats for you and her. I wish her all my best. You too.
Keep the truth in front of her. Crush her denial. I, too, had many baffling medical problems which I knew were drug induced,
but couldn't admit it to anyone at the time. My best to you both.
