: : : : : How long does Oxycoton stay in your system? I've been on Vicodin's
: : : : : since 4-00 due to auto accident. Would they be able to detect Oxy's in a drug test since I've
: : : : : been on Vic's for so long??? Or do they even test for things like that in drug tests??????
: : : : I think that it WOULD show up on a test, but it may not be relevant to your prospective employer. If you are operating machinery or driving, they probably will rule you out. If you're obtaining the Vics legally, it should only be your business. You would have to find out what is on your prospective employer's banned list. Are you addicted? How many a day?
: : :
: : : No, I don't think I'm addicted. It's something I've been getting to relax and help
: : : me sleep alittle better, I've been under alot of stress. Now the Vicodin's, I believe I'm addicted
: : : to those, because when I run out I get hot and cold flashes bad.
: : Oxycontin is just time-released oxycodone (percodan's active ingredient), and also the "cousin" to vicodin, which you know is hydrocodone. They both show up as opiates in a drug screen. They stay in the system about 5 days.
: Doesn't Oxycontin have some type of Morphine in it? That's what I was concerned about.
You might be thinking of MScontin, which is morphine sulfate. However, you'd better be concerned about oxycontin. They both test as opiates, and they will both ruin your life. They both are time-released pills. All three, vicodin, precodan, and morphine are cousins.
