In Reply to: Crack and the one I love posted by DC on September 22, 2000 at 00:17:45:

: Hello,
: My girlfriend or recent ex-girlfriend is using crack. She has become a bitter person who no longers enjoys life. Is there anything that I can do to help her? I have confronted her about her problem. She denies it. She had a problem with crack about 5 years ago. It took her to hell and she found her way out. This time it seems worse. She has only been back on the wagon about 3 months but she is so bitter and depressed this time. I was around for her last crack problem. Of course she did not speak to me for the most of it. This time it is the same. I talk to her and I can see in her eyes she hears but then she disappears. I just don't know what to do. Everyone keeps telling me there is no hope for her.

: Thank you for listening.

Pray for her. A lot. You can't help her unless she wants to be helped. I know. I have a daughter in that same place. I know it hurts you not being able to do something, but that's just how it is. Good luck and god bless you for caring for her.
