: Dear Kevin,

: Interesting take on the subject! I know. If we sat down at the end of a day and had a beer, no one would think twice. But, because it is illegal, there is a tremendous amount of guilt associated with it. It's a lose-lose situation with me right now..... Thanks for your input!

Victoria...
Another interesting take on this is that anyone who is truly and addict knows that they are truly and addict. People can go around for years and years pretending that you can't be addicted to marijuana but the bottom line is that people can and are. It is a mind altering chemical and any mind altering chemical that you choose to use "everday" is an addiction. Why would you use a mind altering chemical everday? Hiding from reality? I think that people have spent so much time gathering information that okay's marijuana use and they don't listen to the real feeling inside their heads telling them that this behavior is not right. I don't think that there is a problem with smoking pot although when people use it on a daily basis it is a problem. You know that and I know that. Arguing the point is worthless. People that abuse alcohol and other drugs know without a doubt that they have a problem. They just post these questions in hopes that one or more people will (without knowing) tell them that they don't have a problem. Bottom line is if you think you do you do.

Here's a list of questions to again reassure yourself that you have a problem:
1 Has smoking pot ever stopped being fun?
2 Do you ever get high alone?
3 Is it hard for you to imagine your life without marijuana?
4 Do you find that your friends are determined by your marijuana use?
5 Do you smoke marijuana to avoid dealing with your problems?
6 Does your marijuana use let you live in a privately defined world?
7 Do you smoke pot to change or enhance your feelings?
8 Have you ever failed to keep promises you made about cutting down or controlling your dope smoking?
9 Do you have difficulty remembering what you said or what you did?
10 Do you plan your life around marijuana use?
11 When your stash is nearly empty, do you feel anxious or worried about how to get more?
12 Have friends or relatives ever complained that you pot use is damaging your relationship with them?
