Your friends are not "friends" if they use or
let you use drugs. A true friend is the one who
tells you and demonstrates that drugs are your
enemy and does everything he can to make you
understand that.
I found that once I had thought about it and
been away from drugs for a few weeks that I
felt different about my "old friends". I
talked to one on the phone and she said that
she sure missed me and wanted me to come
"party with her" but....be sure and bring
"something"...she did'nt miss me, she missed
the drugs and money I used to furnish in order
to "party with her". I asked her to go to a
AA meeting with me and she begged off saying
that that was for people that "had problems"
and that she did'nt have problems.
I don't think that anyone has the willpower
to not use drugs if they are around them.
Just like an alcoholic has to stay away from
alcohol, a drug addict has to stay away from
drugs. FAR AWAY!!!!
