He seemed to be a hopeless alcoholic but after he asked the Lord Jesus Christ for help, my mother's friend found what he was seeking. He believed what the Bible says:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved--you and your household." (Acts 16:31)
