It would be an idea for you to check out whether there is an Alanon meeting in your area for you. This would help you understand the nature of addiction and your role in your husbands lifestyle. If he isn't at the stage of getting help and making it work for him then you need to seek help either through counselling and/or Alanon. Good luck. (alcohol and drug counsellor)
