My experience w/ Ativan was a horrible week of withdrawl. Using it for side effects from Prozac helped me. However, the so called doctor failed to warn me that taking Ativan alone could cause depression. As I weaned off Prozac, the Ativan was a crutch, I admit- but I did not know that my depression would plummet to a new time low by using Ativan alone. I want to share this information w/ anyone that may be experiencing depression while taking Ativan. It could be the cause and I hope you don't have to go through what I did to get off the Ativan.
