: No one could ever convince me that pot is physically addictive. It may seem that way to people with an addictive personality, it seems as though they convince themselves that they need it. As a teen, I was a HEAVY pot smoker, as I matured, it became less important, sometimes even going without for long periods of time for urinalysis or lack of cash. It was no trouble, I missed it, but never needed it. I do know people that "think" they have to smoke, but it is an obvious personality disorder.
: I did at one time in my life have a serious addiction to pain pills, even life threatening. I took anywhere from 10 to even sometimes 30 a day, depending on how much $ I had. I would spend every dime I had on pills. I would eat them until I was sick, and if I did not have enough, or any, I would get terribly ill from withdraws. It was the most painful time of my life. I have only been clean for 6 months. I'm thinking those who think they are "addicted" to marijuana have never really had an addiction. I can live without a joint, but not a cigarette! I spend more on cigs. than I do pot...maybe its just me though.
