Interesting that all of you have the same thing in common....opiate addiction. No different than a heroin addict, just the form that the drug comes in. To the 45 year old man that spent the Holidays in jail-you need to check out a methadone maintenance p rogram. To the youngsters, put a stop to this pill addiction before it becomes a lifetime problem. Opiates can and do change the chemical makeup of your brain over time, and you will always be dependent on them (whether you are using or not, you will always have an unbelievably strong craving for them). I suggest going into a residential detox program, if at all possible. Most hospitals will offer you a medically supervised detox, also. Good luck.
