I am a nurse who is currently working in an area where IV medications are readily available and easily missed. It started out as curiosity. Even though I'm a nurse, I had a little phobia about needles. Not anymore. Unfortunately my husband enjoys shooting up as much as I do. The other night he used too much and stopped breathing. It was fortunate for us both that I still had some level of consciousness and I was able to give him mouth to mouth. He still had a pulse but was completley cyanotic and not breathing. I don't understand why I am still continuing to do this. I know what the end result is. Is there anyone out there who understands?
