Hi...

I am recovering from a long-term abuse of alcohol. The sole drink was a light beer, about 6-10 per day for the past 10 years, with the exclusion of a 9-month period cessation due to my pregnancy, and another occasion due to a 3-4 week detox colon cleanse, due to IBS, colitis, and other digestive ailments. (That was alot of beer for a 103 lb. figure at 5'4".) Although, I have not experienced any withdrawel symptoms, much to my surprise, there has been something troubling me that I feel may be somehow related to my log-term alcohol abuse. I am on my 5th week of abstinence, and since I quit drinking the beer, every night during my sleep I am awaken in a total body sweat. Especially on my chest area. This happens every night and on more than one occasion each night. The sweat is odorless and profuse. I was wondering if anyone could relate to this, or relate it to my condition of past abuse? During the first week or two of withdrawel, I related the night sweats to toxins being flushed from my body, but after 5 weeks!!! Could that still be possible? I am alone on this problem any always have been, can anyone help me with answers?? I CANNOT even believe I have come this far all by myself without the aid of alcohol! And, I fear for my health due to damage already done!
