if you are a habitual pot smoker it can have lots of negative side effects. smoking it occasionaly is nothing, when your smoking it a few times a day it can have some negative side effects. You end up being burnt out, tired all the time, not wanting to do anything, which in turn will effect any job you have, your relationships with friends, family It can also effect your memory and things like that depending on the length of time and frequency of use. From my experience {with family members} i can also cause depression and other mental problems, or increase the intesity of them. A lot of people think that because it isn't physicaly adictive that it's harmless, and it is, if you are an occasional smoker with a non-adictive personality. But if your smoking it every day your going to end up with a certin amount of dependancy on it and it can have a lot of negative side effects. Most people who suffer a lot of the negative side effects do have underlying mental problems or a lot of stress in there lives...but when your an every day smoker from what i've seen it does tend to increase any underlying reasons for smoking it. There are people who will tell you they smoke it every day with no harfull effects, and yes there are people you can do that, not everyone who does is that lucky. It all comes down to the individual person involved.
