I just read a posting of someone that has a Morphine Pump implanted in stomach. I also have one that was implanted last Nov,1999. I am in the slow process of getting the med dosage raised(as they can only do it slowly over time) It's a slow process,for each person isdifferent. I also take Oxycone40mg 2 x a day. There are several side effects that I don't like,such as tirdness , CONSTIPATION BIG TIME!!!! Nausea at times,especially in the mornings. I drink lots of water,eat fruit and fiber to help my body "MOVE" I would have the pump done again as my pain level is much better,it is just a slow process to get to where you hope to be! Hope to hear from someone that has had a Morphine implant. Thanks
