I feel for you big time! I just tried to quit my Norco cold turkey from taking two every fours hours for the last two years. It has not been an easy thing. It's been a living hell is more like it. The only things I have found that even help a little bit is Kava Kava Complex that has Kava Kava, Chamomile, Passion flowers, Hops Flowers and Schizandra Fruit in it. Add to that something called Quiet Day formula that has Skullcap, Lemon Balm, Black Cohosh Root, Hops Flowers, Valerian root, Passion Flowers, and Cayenne Fruit. THEN....something called Percogesic which is tylenol with a relaxer in it, and an all natural nerve tonic by Hylands for sleep and also Hyland's leg cramp formula for those restless legs. It doesn't help a whole bunch but I haven't killed anyone and I do actually sleep which is a blessing in itself. There is an herb out there if you can find it that is a member of the poppy family called "Corydalis". You can find it on the web though I have not had any luck finding it in local health food stores. It is not illegal. They say it is like getting very small doses of morphine. Maybe if you could find this, it will help you through the worst parts of the withdrawals. I myself have decided to refill my scripts and then talk to my doc about going into detox instead of doing the weaning off thing. I hate the fact that even though I needed these meds for pain, that my body has decided it doesn't want to give them up. The mental part is no big thing for me. I have better things I can spend that money on. I just can't get through the physical part of it which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies.
