I have been on Effexor (150mg/day) for 2 years now - it has 100% ruined my sex drive (hey, I'm only 24 - I shouldn't feel like this!) I have finally made the decision that I have to get off of Effexor if I ever want to orgasm again. I have an appointment with my prescribing doctor tomorrow - I'm basically going to tell him (not ask him) that I'm getting off this stuff - I know he'll prescribe something else which I hear helps but I have also heard some horror stories about withdrawl from Effexor - does anyone have any words of advice for me? Anything would be appreciated. I also take Neurontin 300 mg/ 3 times/day and Ambien 20 mg/day
