: The definition of addiction (from the Columbia Encyclopedia) is:

: "Addiction is more often now defined by the continuing, compulsive nature of the drug use despite physical and/or psychological harm to the user and society and includes both licit and illicit drugs, and the term “substance abuse” is now frequently used because of the broad
: range of substances (including alcohol and inhalants) that can fit the addictive profile."

: Please keep in mind that addiction and physical dependence are entirely two DIFFERENT things. In my opinion, you are fine.

Question?....... Would a person that lives a very STRESSFUL life be more likely to get addicted to LORTABS,more so than someone who has a "LAYED-BACK" and RElaxed life style? And also can anyone on this board define what an "ADDICTIVE PERSONALITIY" is? I was told my boyfriend had that..... Thanks !
