Addison's disease is rare in dogs, but my Basset has it. She takes florinef daily and pred as well. She also has a special diet and requires blood test ever 3-4 months. It can be costly.
My dog was lethargic, suffered muscle weakness, would not eat or drink, and suffered hair loss.
If you think your pet has it you need to get a cortisol test from your local veterinarian.
