I have had Addison's for 34 years and the weight
is a neverending battle. When you pretty well
have it under control you have an event(dentist,
normal sickness, etc)and have to double or triple
up on your steroid and you fluff up. You cannot
let it get you down. We are so lucky to be alive
because when I first was diagnosed it was so rare
and Cortisone was the miracle drug. I wish I
could help you feel better by telling you that
you are so much more than what you weigh.
