: : I would like to hear from as many of you as I can, who have been diagnosed with Addisons Disease. Please let me know How were you Diagnosed? and What symptoms did/do you have? and What tests were done to determined the Diagnosis? I have been feeling very "funny" (I can't explain it exactly) lately and fear I may have Addisons Disease.
: My dad had recently gone to the Dr., well actually he has been having problems for the last two years, and today when he went to the Dr. they told him that it could be this. I myself don't know what it is and would like some information if possible.
: : Please RUSH your responses, time is of the essence!

Gwen, Since I just got a computer I am very late in replying to you. I certainly hope you have consulted a good doctor by now
and he has sent you to a good "endrocronologist" who could intelligantly diagnose addisons disease, if you have it.
My symtoms are typical of all cases-nausea, crave salt, lite headed, I am steadilly growing weaker and at times am extreemly fatigued.
You would have to be hospitalized to determine if you have it. It requires some blood work after deprevation (of water if I remember
correctly). Hopefully you have discovered your problem by now and you are doing ok.
Best Wishes-Dom
