I have had surgery on my foot & had from my waist down numbed.( i stayed awake though) I had it done at univerisity of chicgo. There was nothing special done. I told the dr. I had addison's disease & he took care of everything. we watch my levels before & after surgery. I also checked w/ my endo.he said to up my cortisol a little before & after,but u. of chic. said not to worry (i didn't & there was no problems)GOOD LUCK!!! I'll pray for ya....but don't stress on it (that can't help the situation!)
