I have read many of the posts in this message board and am amazed that there is still so little information out there. Is there a central place we can go to get the information on side effects and prognosis? When I was diagnosed with Addison's 1963, I had been diagnosed with hypoparathyroidism 2 years before. There are those days that I can hardly get out of bed and find myself in desperate need to gain weight now. There were times when I said,"that's enough...no more" and stopped the meds all together. Needless to say, I ended up in ICU and will never pull that again. It's so nice to know that we have a place to go and talk with others that may be in the same situation.
