I'm 21 and I've been living with Addison's for about 9 years now. Right now I'm training to run the mile for the track team at Brigham Young University. Running is a passion of mine, I've always done it and will for the rest of my life! Running produces a sense of oneness with myself, or a better understanding of my body. With this i can better watch and read my body and understand when things arn't quite right. It's amazing at how powerful the mind is. I've talked to a few other people who are lucky like me to have Addison's, and i must say we all need to exercise a little more. I promise it will make you feel tons better about yourself physicaly and mentaly. My only trouble is that i can't gain weight no matter how hard i try! I'd love to have some input on how to pack on a few extra pounds. Life is beautiful, and so much fun! Dreams do come true.
