I am a 20 year old male and was diagnosed with addisons at the age of 15. I also suffer from the heavy beating of the heart and I can see it moving when laying down. I am currently taking 20mg Hydrocortisone in the morning and 10mg at night together with 0.1mcg fludrocortisone. The thing is the taking of the medication is a "Catch 22" Situation, The more tablets you take the more weight you gain, then you have to take more medication to compensate for the weight gain! Hey we can't win! Cheers, Paul
