A typical dosage is 37.5 mg of cortisone and .1 mg of florinef. I was diagnosed in 1974 and only just now have changed my dosage to 50mg of cortisone and .2 mg of florinef. Cortisone must be taken twice a day to be effective, not once a day in a single dossage.
