My father has been undergoing tests lately because he has been having trouble with balance over the years. The doctors gave him a series of tests and have concluded that he has some sort of degenerative problem that affects balance. He also had problems with memory tests..like he couldn't think of any words that start with the letter "s". He has also started slurring his speach a little, and even my boyfriend has told me that he has trouble understanding him. He has had a few falls lately because of his balance. I am woried about him. Even with all of the tests, the doctors don't know exactly what the problem is. Does anyone know what diseases have these types of symptoms? (my father is 69 years old) Thank you for you help!
