My husband tends to suffer with chronic sinus infections, also. This is what I understand about his condition. The sinuses get irritated with things that aggravate his allergies. When that constant irritation starts, it seems to encourage infections. I would suggest talking to your doctor about perhaps an allergy pill to take care of the allergy problems. Perhaps one of those prescription ones (like Zyrtec, Clariton) that last all day and they do not make you drowsy, would help your problem. By combating the allergies, you may be able to combat the infections. I can't urge you enough to talk to your doctor about this. We live in eastern Washington state, where summers are hot and dry, and we live in a Douglas Fir (mainly) forest on 23.7 acres. So, we have the dust and pollen. Take care, Pat G (My hubby is 52 yrs. old; I am 51)
