: I would like to hear response to the drug aricept from caregivers of alzheimer patients. What have your noticed. Good & Bad. Is it helping?
My mother has been on aricept for about three years now. Currently she is taking exelon to replace the exelon. I am not a doctor , but it is supposed to be more effective. Consult with your doctor. If the person is still part of his own caregiving, look into alternative therapies which will include a lot of vitamins. Dr. Hoffman's website lists studies with positive results.
Good Luck!
