I've recently visited a dermatologist and was told I have sebborheic dermatitis and folliculitis which is infection of the hair follicles. I've had the folliculitis for years and when I first developed it in '88, I was told not to use conditioner. Now I read somewhere about other people with these bumps on scalp and how it was due to things like ammonium laureth sulfate from shampoo? I'd like to hear from others via email from others with folliculitis/bumps on scalp and who either have diagnosed or suspect they too are allergic/sensitive to certain ingrediants in their shampoos.
