I have since Christmas of this year been experiencing very dry itchy skin. It started around my fingers and I wrote it off to cold winter weather and dry skin.
I now have it pretty much everywhere especially my legs, arms and hands. It is driving me mad. I have seen several doctors and they put me on Prednezone which sort of helped, but now that I am off of it it is worse. I am not able to get into a specialist for almost a month and the condition is getting worse everyday and has also made me short of breath and weak. I'd really like to know what could possibly be going on. I am scratching so hard I am bruising and my arms and neck are very red and blotchy.
