: I just found out yesterday that my 4 year old is allergic to eggs and chicken. I'm at a loss. He doesn't eat much chicken anyways, but he eats a lot of things with eggs in them. Any advice from other parents who have been through this experience would be helpful. Thanks. Jane

if he is allergic to eggs just have them test the yolk and the egg white seprate-but make sure they also do a test for latex because this is the allergy that causes major problems and i was testesed allergic to eggs first and a friend of mine was diagnoise with a chicken and egg allergy and then when tested we both were positive to latex. i hope your child does not have a latex allergy but if he is tested to latex and is latex alleriic make sure they give you and epi-pen you need to have one on hand ask your doctor if you should have one on hand even if it is just eggs and chicken good luck
