My two year old son was just diagnosed with allergic rhinitis to cat and two types of mold. Can my cats remian living in the house with my son? I'm afraid if I do keep my cats I will be subjecting my son to other possible health problems? I am doing everything to control the environment i.e. air purifiers, allerpet on my cats, pulling up his carpet in his room, keeping cats out of his room etc. He gets lots of colds to. How can I tell the difference between a cold and allergies. His only symptoms are stuffy/runny nose. There are times when he could go weeks without any symptoms. I just want to do what is best for my son.
