My son's school is a nut free school because there is 2 children who have life threating alergy's to them. I've heard of people who can't so much as smell peanuts without having a reaction. While it is valid to bring up the fact that you can't ban everything because children have alergy's to them, but i bet if your child had a life threatening allergy to peanuts you wouldn't be saying that they shouldn't be banned. I think banning peanuts and other nuts is a small price to pay for a childs life!
