I have worn contact lenses for close to 18 years and never had any problems with allergies until recently. During the spring and the fall, when pollen is the worst, my eyes become itchy and irritated. Because of this I am unable to wear my contact lenses. Because of my job, it is very difficult for me to wear glasses. I have tried Allegra and Claritin, and also Patinol. Nothing seems to help. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything else I can try?
