My husband is allergic to all animals. We have 3 small children and would love to have a dog. My husband took allergy shots as a child and no longer takes them. Allergy medicine seems to make his heart race. He has not tried any medicine for at least 5 years. Last year...we had a bichon frise puppy for about 4 hours in our home when he started to weaze and was itching. Does anyone know of any medications or if allergy shots might help now so that we may have a puppy for our children? Thanks....
