: I am 27 years old and have been struggling with infections 9 months of the year for about ten years now. I've had two sinus surgeries, a tonsilectomy, tubes in my ears numerous times. I now have holes in my eardrums from the fluid pushing out the T-tubes. I can't have the ear drums repaired until my allergies are under control. I had one type of allergy testing done about six years ago and that did not show that I had any allergies. Last year I had different skin tests performed. I was found to be allergic to 23 diffirent items (grass, trees, dust, pollen, etc.) I am currently receiving allergy shots, but I have not made any big improvements. I have been receiving the shots for nine months now. I'm very frustrated at this time and worried that the shots are not going to help. Please let me know of any information pertaining to this. I have also started homeopathy and would like to know if anyone has found it to be helpful. Thanks.
Have you been tested for dairy allergies? Our daughter is allergic to dairy products...symptoms are ear infections(repeated), diarhea, irritability, sneezing. Symptoms are not necessarily present all at once...We have successfully cut dairy out of her diet. She drinks Rice Dream (an alternative to cows milk.) I did a lot of research on the internet and reading before I realized this was the solution to hear ear infections. We now have a healthy vibrant child. NO MORE EAR INFECTIONS!!!
