Tree pollen is the first offender in the Spring in the Northeast, usually becoming problematic end March / early April. This then blends right into grass pollen season later in Spring and into early summer, followed by weeds and mold spores, and then ragweed in late August through mid October. If you are having a lot of syptoms when you first get up you should consider indoor allergens such as dust mites. Do you sleep with the window open? Pollen can blow in while you sleep. The only way to know exactly what you are sensitive to is with allergy skin testing. This can help you better with specific environmental controls. Good luck.
