I also have the same symptoms - itchy arms, no rash. My mother also has had the same problem.
Also, I have noticed a "tingly", somewhat burning sensation on my arm while driving and the sun shines through the window on my arm. I will research the formaldehyde allergies.
: I go through spells of having terribly itchy arms - mostly forearms, sometimes shoulders. Feels more like little prickles or bits, but there is not a mark on my skin to show for it. Mostly happens at night, and the itching sensation gets so bad that it wakes me up. Usually I try putting a cold washcloth on the itching area. If I scratch once, then I have to scratch twice, etc etc. Sometimes, by the time I wake up in the morning, I have scratched so much that I have small scabs on my forearms.
: I have no idea what is causing this. I have many allergies (food, medications, airborne, etc), but can't seem to relate this to anything. Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas as to what might be causing it?
